Bitcatcha.com is a free online learning resource for freelancers and small business owners.
At Bitcatcha, we publish meaningful recommendations for the modern age.
As the world moves at lightspeed, we help readers make sense of the latest tools, opportunities and challenges out there. Why? So you can use tech in a human way that works for you.
We’re tech optimists, but realists too! We’re not big fans of ‘hustle culture’ or digital burnout. We believe in a better way to use tech: like location freedom, mindful productivity, and buying smart.
Tech has helped our team create a life we love – why not you too?
We help you harness the tools around you to live a fulfilling life – whatever that looks like to you! We specialise in in-depth guides, reviews, news and data-driven advice.
Our team loves rolling up our sleeves and investigating the best gadgets, tools, and software. We combine our research with hands-on testing so we can cut the crap, and deliver our honest recommendations.
Aside from product reviews, we’re interested in any trends and topics that can improve our readers’ lives. So, if you want to know how to use tech safely, build a cool website, or start freelancing – we got you!
When Daren started Bitcatcha.com in 2014, we were a simple review site for online tools. We even built our very own speed test tool, that’s been used by everyone from Huffpost, to Lifehack. But as we grew, our reader questions got bigger and broader.
Today, Bitcatcha is a busy content hub with a growing community. Our core contributors are all over the world and from every walk of life – from freelancers and CEOs, to tech journalists, parents, business coaches, and mental health advocates.
Some things we love creating:
Product reviews and comparisons
Hosting, VPN, and hardware reviews
Tips, tricks and in-depth guides
Free tech tools built by our in-house team
Buying guides
Interviews with experts
